A  whole house water filter  is quite a necessity for a swimming pool. Without water filters, swimming pools will not have that blue color that we are used to seeing. Filters will also prevent algae from thriving in the pool and prevent other sorts of microorganism, including potentially dangerous ones, from inhabiting a pool. Once, chlorine and bleach was needed in order to provide an extra level of protection for the swimmers. Now new filters using some ultraviolet light in addition to filtration and other methods, can allow the reduction of chlorine use or its elimination altogether.
