Yes, I love toasty warm winter coatswarm winter coats. I also (as some of you well know!) love short minis and that goes for coats as well as party dresses. Now, I also know that fashion must give way to pragmatism on occasion and it may be that it is foolish to spend $$$ on a adorable minicoat that is going to leave your knees knocking and your teeth chattering on a below zero day. Of course, if the budget will run to it, you may be able to have your cake and eat it too and bully for you if you can. meanwhile, I'm going to keep looking in all the places I know for examples of both!
