Technical education rajasthan board is starting a program to develop technical skills which is open only to children of TSP employees they are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and they don’t need to meet any criteria to get into the program.There are no qualifications, such as grade point average, because the goal is to reach all young people. “If we had certain criteria, some of the kids would not have an opportunity,” President of Technical Education Board Rajasthan said. “Hopefully this will give them an opportunity to change at an early age.”The 120,000-square-foot Technology Training Center, site of the youth program and other TSP employee training programs, was built last year by UAW workers and includes:* Twenty-nine classrooms.* A health and safety lab.* Computer labs.* An apprentice lab and work bays for all the major trade areas.* A technology training lab.* A welding lab.* A library.The training center uses state-of-the art equipment that is currently used in TSP plants.
