My little brother and I were walking in the downtown area when we saw walking Christmas GIFTS in the middle of the street. The city is having their annual Christmas parade. There was Santa Claus with his reindeers, walking gifts and Christmas trees, a band playing Christmas carols, a big float featuring a mini Christmas village to be displayed in front of the city hall and lots more. The streets were crowded and one of the little kids beside us fell down on the streets. My little brother helped him up before any serious damage was done. I didn’t want my brother to get hurt, so I hoisted him up and let him sit on my shoulders so he can also have a better view. It was a beautiful parade and I commend the city for doing a great job. But what’s best about the parade was that we got the chance to ride on the big float thanks to my little brother. While everyone was busy watching the parade, only the city mayor, aside from me, saw what my brother did. Now I know that the saying “little things will go unnoticed” proves to be true after all. My brother just proved that to me.
