Clinical Studies confirm green tea’s effect on weight loss
The green tea effect on weight loss has been comprehensively proven. It is the presence of catechins (or caffeine) in green tea which brings about an increase in the body’s metabolic rate. This in turn helps a person to burn calories faster than usual. Research has been conducted where one group of subjects were asked to consume green tea pills whilst the other group of subjects (control group) were given a placebo. There was a noticeable reduction in the weight of those subjects taking the green tea pills vis-à-vis the control group.
