A traditional wedding
I just heard from Serena that she's engaged and wants me to be her Matron of Honor! Isn't that great? The wedding is going to be in September at a lovely little church in Virginia and a reception at her parent's home in the country. A lovely old place with a ton of charm and grace. Big guest list and a very fancy reception planned apparently in the early evening. Serena wants me to go shopping for the dress with her and to plan the attendants dresses with her too. This one is pretty upscale so the need is for an elegant wedding dress. Hardly my best category since thats not me at all but I guess she trusts my judgment in clothes regardless of what or who they're for! I have no idea where she wants to shop. Perhaps, I'll do some research as to the best places to go with some of my recent bride friends.
