I may be a skeptic but really there isn’t a hell of a lot you can do on you PC to increase your dsl connection speed apart from a dsl upgrade. You connection speed is really what it is. There are plenty of companies on the market who offer download optimizations tools, both free ware, shareware and commercial products. The basic premises of these is that they optimize the connection you have, particularly when you are downloading large files. This can be done but opening up multiple connection to the supplying servers and downloading the file(s) in pararell. This works if the server can handle it but once again, our connection to the Interne is really your bottle neck.
