Spyware is an alias for advertising software or Adware. This is a big way for companies to generate money for themselves. More than often companies offer software owners to place their banner ads in their products in exchange for a share in sales from the banners. A user can always have the option of getting rid of these banners by getting a complete package or by registering and paying a fee. But this is where trouble starts. Without the knowledge of the user the spyware removal installs tracking mechanisms in the user’s machine, which can contact with its server and relay information from the user’s PC at his or her bandwidth cost.
