Studying child psychology
Child Psychology is one of the sub-sets of developmental psychology. Child psychology deals with mental processes and the behavior of children during their various stages of learning and development. The study in this field focuses on intellectual, neural, cognitive, social, and moral development during growth stages of a child’s life. The ability of a child to learn at each required phase is studied and students are trained to be able to deal with cases involving children and their families. One goes to this field of study with the aim of becoming a child psychologist. A child psychologist should hold a PhD degree, but a masters in child psychology will suffice.
