Getting the right look

I have a really nice lounge and a few months ago I decided to give it a total redesign and is part of that I also decided to change the window coverings. I took the advice of an interior designer and he told me that the best thing I could do was fit to set of bamboo patio blinds across the patio windows in order to make sure that the light level in the room difficult so high that the room becomes uncomfortable during the hot summer months. I took his advice and I’m really glad that I did.

Keeping the room cool

When you talk to most people are mentioned the word insulation they usually believe that you’re talking about keeping a room warm but this is not always true because insulation can also help to keep a room cool, and that is why I chose to fit a nice set of insulated roman shades in my lounge last year. They really do help to keep the temperature nice and cool during the hot summer months. I think they are a great thing to have installed.

Thinking About Geothermal Heating

I’ve just started reading up on
geothermal heating, and I have to say it’s exciting! The technology has really progressed in recent years.
My research on geothermal power plants has led me to conclude that this is a very promising investment sector and technology, and that geothermal heat exchange systems are great investments for homeowners as well.
I’m strongly considering installing a geothermal heating and cooling system in my home, as well as buying shares in geothermal companies.
Alright - that’s all for now.

Solar Heating Systems

solar heating systems was once relegated to tree huggers and the like, because it wasn’t all that cost effective. All that has changed, however, as the price of solar panels has dropped, and energy prices have risen. Now it can be a great investment.
Residential Solar Power Systems look to be a great boon for your bank account as well as the Earth.
Do your homework, though, and be sure you intend to stay in your home long enough to recoup your investment.

Learning About Geo Thermo Energy

I’ve been wanting to invest more in renewable energy lately, and I’ve discovered that Geo Thermo Energy is a great way to do it. Investing both in a geothermal climate system, as well as shared of the company, seems like a good bet.
From everything I’ve read about Geothermal Prices, it seems that geo-thermal has great potential, and will continue to grow.
I’m thinking I might buy a geothermal heat exchanger myself, if they are available in my area.
Please comment and let me know what you think.

Make A Residential Solar Generator Yourself

Here is a guide that can help you make a solar generator for your home on your own. For this you need a solar panel rated at 12V, a 4 amp charge controller, a 32 amp-hour sealed battery and a DC to AC power inverter. Also, get a voltage meter to check the generator's load.

First of all, you have to wire the solar panel properly with the solar charge controller and the battery system. Connect the battery leads to the charge controller's terminal blocks. Now, connect the inverter to the battery and mount the solar panel. You should mount the panel in such a way that it gets the most sunlight during the entire day.

You can use this residential solar generator to power, a fan, your laptop or even a small TV.

Looking for magic!

Next! Now that the overall space plan is done, it's time to start selecting the major components and looking at the range of possibilities we have to consider.  Countertops, cabinets, sinks, appliances, floor treatment. So what is the best way to approach this?  I have heard that the Kohler Idea Homes sites have videos that take you through various different homes in different situations and show you the kind of things others have done. So that's what I'll do - go to their main site and look around and select some of those videos and see if that sparks some kitchen remodeling ideas in my brain!
