Trucks do a lot of free shipping through out the world. They have the advantage of being able to use public roads as a means to move cargo, making them quite versatile as many locations do not have seaports, airports, or rail lines, but will almost always have some sort of road passable by a vehicle like a truck. Trucks are also much faster than ships at moving cargo. However, very notably trucks are quite fuel inefficient at moving cargo when compared to trains and ships, though they will be more efficient than ordinary vehicles.
