Project Management is something which you have to do in order to learn. This is the reason that it focuses on practical exposure as much as on the theory part. The same is case with prince 2 training. Generally a training session lasts for a week or so. In this period the trainees cover the foundation course which deals with theory part. Then there is the practitioner part of the PRINCE2 training. This is the part where trainees use their own skills with the knowledge they acquired in foundation course. This part focuses on the implementation. Trainees have to clear one exam after the foundation course and one after the practitioner part to get PRINCE2 certification.
