Another way awesome way to do your ab exercises is to add resistance.  Once you burn the fat off of your abs then it is time to build those ab muscles.  There are a lot of different ways to train your abs with resistance.  You can use wieght plates, resistance bands, or dumbells, all are good choices. The key here is to make sure you have burned off your abdominal fat and exposed your muscles. Your abs are just like any other muscle group, they will respond to resistance training.  You dont need to target your ab muscles with specific isolation exercises.
