Everyone who has ever been on a diet knows that there will be roadblocks or detours to your fitness goals. A big or small stress event in your life can stop your diet cold. And if your goal is quick weight loss you will have to learn how to adjust and recover from these stressors fast.

My advice is to stop your diet for a period of time. Forget you are on a diet for a day or a half day. Deal with the stress the best way you can. Pat yourself on the back for doing so, then get back on track with your fitness program.
