I have been here on an immigration united states work visa for six months now and I love this country. My dream is to become an American citizen where I can vote and participate in the whole democratic process. Yet, I don’t know what I need to do next. I have contacted those who helped me obtain the work visa, but they are so backed up it could be months before I hear back from them. A co-worker suggested I talk to a lawyer who specializes in this field as he may be able to give me some answers. I really want to get the process started as I don’t want to go back to my home country again unless it is for a visit.
